BAVARIA C38 - Data and Options
Extra speed thanks to more sail area.
When developing the rig and sail plan, the development team at BAVARIA YACHTS, in collaboration with Cossutti Yacht Design, focussed on two points: easy handling and above-average performance.
So 46 square metres of sail area in the mainsail and 35 square metres in the genoa on the BAVARIA C38 provide that extra bit of power upwind. A Code0 [70 square metres] and the gennaker [130 square metres] also ensure top speeds on half and downwind courses. Easy handling is of course standard at BAVARIA.
Many equipment options are already included as standard on the C38. These include the self-tacking jib. backstay, backstay tensioner and a magnificent sail area of 79.3 m² and much more. See for yourself.

Options and packages
Sail Ready package
Just sail away! The Sail Ready package complements the extensive basic equipment of the BAVARIA C38 with many helpful options that make life on board even more pleasant. From the railing access amidships to more energy through additional battery capacity to the electric windlass.
Rigg options
Whether you prefer to sail with the sport mast, where you set the mainsail classically from the lazybag on the boom, or if you prefer the convenience of a furling mast, that's up to you. We have built so that you can sail equally fast with both options.
Bimini and sprayhood
Fortunately, the sun shines on all cruising grounds, but sometimes the wind blows freshly from the front. With the bimini top and sprayhood from BAVARIA YACHTS you are always well protected, in the sun and in the rain.
Save at anchor
Enjoying the sunset at anchor is offered by BAVARIA YACHTS ex shipyard. The 10 kilogram anchor on the BAVARIA C38 comes with 75 meters of chain, galvanized or stainless steel. However, the appropriate cocktail to the sunset you need to provide yourself.
