The world premiere BAVARIA C46 on award course

With the new BAVARIA C46, BAVARIA YACHTS presents the next generation of the C-LINE at the 2023 Yachting Festival in Cannes. The BAVARIA C46 sets new standards in the combination of clever interior design, outstanding sailing qualities and innovative solutions. The nomination by the international jury of the European Yacht of the Year Award for the 2024 European Yacht of the Year is a further confirmation of this completely new development. The new BAVARIA C46 is a modern yacht that combines long-standing BAVARIA strengths with innovative added value and thus finds convincing solutions for many customers and the most diverse requirements. The BAVARIA C46 will celebrate her world premiere at the Yachting Festival in Cannes on September 12th.
With the new BAVARIA C46, BAVARIA YACHTS is presenting the next step of modern sailing yachts of the C-LINE at the boat shows in Cannes, Southampton, and Genoa. The new BAVARIA C46 offers a clear added value compared to previous yachts and, due to her concept, enables unique moments for the most diverse needs. The successful C-LINE concept has been further developed and reinterpreted in all areas. The BAVARIA C46 combines the typical BAVARIA space and the proven Made in Germany solidity with even more sailing performance and a greater sense of well-being on board. Not only do the characteristic features of the hull design with the silhouette of the BAVARIA V-Bow and the Chines give the BAVARIA C46 fantastic sailing performance, but also additional impressive space and cosiness below deck in the salon and cabins.
Whether relaxed and safe sailing with a small crew, single-handed sailing or cruising with a large crew with sporty ambitions – the BAVARIA C46 offers all the necessary options for a maximum of sailing pleasure with six optional winch positions, with 115 sqm of sail area on the wind and further options for Gennaker and Code0. In addition to the conventional sport and furling mast with manual winches for active sailing, an electric furling system for the mainsail and electric winches for trimming the headsails are now optionally available for the first time. Powerful lithium batteries provide the necessary energy for the furling system and other consumers on board the BAVARIA C46, also in combination with removable solar panels on the bimini for additional power generation.
BAVARIA YACHTS' sailing yachts have been known for their ample space and large cabins for 45 years. In addition to an appealing design and high-quality fittings, the clear aim during development was to create a spacious and communicative salon for owners and crew, while at the same time offering a maximum of privacy in the homely cabins. A variety of layouts, also below deck, offers the greatest possible individualisation, whether for sociable costal sailing with a large crew or for long journeys with a small crew or family.
You can experience the new BAVARIA C46 at her world premiere at the Yachting Festival in Cannes from September 12th to 17th, then at the Southampton Boat Show from September 15th to 24th, or at the Salone Nautico from September 21st to 26th. The decision on the European Yacht of the Year Award will be announced in January 2024 at the boot in Dusseldorf, where the new BAVARIA C46 will of course also be present.
